International Women's Day
With an elegant trio of posters, Hannah supported the International Women's Day 2019 event at Hope Street Xchange in Sunderland.
⟢ The Project ⟣
After Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was appointed Royal Patron for Smart Works charity, Hannah was asked to illustrate her specially for the event. Showcasing an elegant trio of thought-provoking posters, the Duchess' portrait was accompanied by drawings of activist Malala Yousafzai and actress Emma Watson. All three artworks featured an inspiring quote, revealing why these women are upheld as female role models today.
⟢ The Event ⟣
During this coffee morning, guests were welcome to donate to charities such as Smart Works, The Red Box Project, and Sunderland foodbanks – allowing disadvantaged girls and women in the city to find workwear, sanitary products, and groceries for free.
Hannah was a pleasure to work with, creating a piece that suited the theme of our event perfectly. The illustration itself was beautiful and Hannah was invaluable in the support she offered in providing extra promotion for the event, through social media, her website and blog - and even securing a piece in Harpy magazine where she showcased the event for us. A huge thank you to Hannah for her support and we look forward to working with her more in the future!
