100 Day Project
In a test of self-discipline and creativity, Hannah set out on the '100 Day Project' – a popular Instagram challenge which runs annually. From 2nd April 2019 until 10th July, Hannah completed and uploaded one new portrait, every day, for one hundred consecutive days.
⟢ Art Style ⟣
Using famous faces for reference, Hannah decided to experiment with a more minimal, suggestive drawing style for this project. She traded in her usual graphite drawing pencils for a mixed-media approach. By introducing in watercolour paints, gel pens, and fineliners, it gave her more opportunity to work loosely and quickly. Every post was then tied together using the same black-and-white filter.
