Rare coloured amphora vase in 24-karat gold, hand-painted with Classical Greek patterns and characters. Ornament style made fashionable in the mid-century by Yiannis Spyropoulos' pottery. Stamped hallmark on base reads: 'KE Handmade in Greece in 24k Gold STRIGOS'.
Pristine condition. Black glaze missing from inside on the base only - a glazing fault, not due to damage (only visible through 1cm opening when looking under direct light). 16 cm tall x 9.5 cm wide, 303 grams
