Cherrybank Gardens was a 7-acre public garden created in 1984 by Bell's whisky producers, whose headquarters were adjacent to the park. It had over 900 varieties of heather, the largest national collection. The garden was closed in 2008 but Bell's is the best-selling Scotch whisky in the UK.
