North East Equality Awards
Hannah produced a stunning piece of art for the 2018 North East Equality Awards. She captured the theme of celebrating 100 years of women's suffrage perfectly. Combining images of ten inspirational women who have literally changed the world, Hannah Rich created something special which our award winners will treasure for years to come.

⟢ The Project ⟣
In early 2018, Hannah was commissioned by the Equality North East team at Gateshead College to create a series of hand-drawn, photorealistic portraits for the North East Equality Awards.
Celebrating one hundred years since UK women won the right to vote, Hannah's visual timeline showcased ten famous women who paved the way for women's rights today. The final collage featured drawings of icons such as Emmeline Pankhurst, Rosa Parks, Audrey Hepburn, and Princess Diana.
⟢ The Event ⟣
Hannah's art was displayed in a solo exhibition at the Hilton Hotel on Newcastle's Quayside in October 2018. The North East Equality Awards played host to over 360 guests, including Frances O'Grady of The Trades' Union Congress who flew over from Europe to attend.
Her art prints now belong in several corporate collections, most notably at Congress House in London's West End, as well as at Newcastle College, Fighting All Cancers Together (FACT), The Northern Inclusion Consortium, Hart Gables LGBT, and more.
